Hello everyone, My wife was goin to send me copies of her G-325A forms in a email file. I was thinking maybe the signature needed to be original when mailing in. But also I think there shouldn't be a problem with it being a copy. But im not sure. I just need to know soon is copy would be ok with the USCIS.

It has to be the originals, they will not accept photo copies of signatures. Our lawyer advised us against photo copying signatures to prevent having to send things in again. So, you're better off just getting the originals and forget about photo copies. USCIS is very strict and always looking for a reason to delay things as it is. When in doubt, trust your instincts. My advice is do not photo copy it and send in the originals after you obtain them from your wife.-It may seem time consuming but in the end it is better than having to resubmit forms at a later date. Good luck!

Play it safe, send the original . Why risk an RFE or delay ?

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

We don't call that the misinformation line for nothing, so I'd say for nearly any question, do not call them. However, this time, this operator got it right. The problem is, you can't count on all the new adjudicators being aware of the policy to accept unsigned G325a forms. So, I always advise sending the orginals particularly if they can be secured within a couple weeks by mail.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

They won't accept copies of signatures, not yours or your spouses. You need to send them original copies of hte form and they need to be signed by both of you.

It has to be all four original copies ( 2 sets, one from you and one from your spouse) It was suggested to me

that when I and my spouse sign the forms, that we sign them in Blue pen. This will added evidence that the forms

are original and not copies. It makes sense to me anyway. Good luck!
