VSC cases transferred to CSC

Since it seems a bunch of VSC cases from Sept. and Oct. were transferred to CSC, does that mean :thumbs: I should get my hopes up for a quicker approval? Just trying to stay positive.

BTW... I-129F NOA1 11/4/08 and still no status available online or through phone system...

I-485 Sent 04/07/2010

I-485 NOA1 04/16/2010

Biometrics 04/28/2010 (assigned appt. date is 5/17/10, but we did an early walk-in with no problems!)

I-485 Interview 09/13/2010 (originally set for July, but had to reschedule, since we were in Europe then)

Waiting on GC to come in the mail!!!

We haven't seen any K3 (I-129F also filed) cases transferred to CSC - only standalone I-130s. However the I-130 transfers will definitely reduce VSCs workload to the point that they may start processing K3s faster than they have been. We can only hope (so far they have processed stuff in a sporadic manner and luck seems to have a lot of do with whether your case takes 5 or 6 or 7 or 8 or 9 months or more to be approved).

10/03/09 - Received GC !!

Actually mine wasn't one of the ones transferred. I was just hoping that since some were, VSC might reach the Oct/Nov filers a little faster. If my husband and I get approved by Springtime, we'll probably forego the K3 and go the CR1 route. No matter what, our goal is to be together by our one year anniversary (May 8). Might be a little too optimistic, but one can hope...
