So, I've been looking to this website for help for a while now, but this is my first time posting. I'm going at this K1 thing without a lawyer because I've heard horror stories of people dealing with lawyers and how expensive it can be. So I've got the I-129 done, and the G-325 done for my fiance, but not the G-325 for myself. I'm confused about where it asks for city and country. I'm not sure if I need to include state because there are cities here in the U.S. with the same name, but I don't know how Immigration wants it done. It seems they are very picky about things and I want to make sure I get it right. So how should it be?

G-325 isn't too big a deal. Just throw in the state after the city. Also make sure to send in all 4 pages for both of you. Some people forget that part.

Ok, thanks for the help. I would also like to ask about the Occupation part, the job part. If one of us was a student, should we write that rather than unemployed?

I would write "Student" under occupation.

Yea, just sneak the state in after the city, no biggie.

When I filed for our K1, I was told to make sure I did the G-325, G-325A, G-325B, and G-325C. I'm not sure if that matters or not, but I did it just in case.

We met in October 2007 and our immigration journey started in July 2008 when we filed for the I-129F Fiance Visa petition.

Yea....definitely would write student.... It looks much nicer than 'unemployed' and doing nothing ;)
