Hello everyone,

I am about to submit my I-130 and both of the G325-A forms Monday. My wife lives in Indonesia where we got married. I am just trying to satisfy alot of curiousity with all of the filing process. We are going to do the I-129F as soon as the I-130 is recieved to speed up her coming to the US. She is worried that there is going to be problems because of all the protesting going on there with the Isreal and Gaza war or whatever. She is a Christian in a muslim country so we are wondering if there is going to be delays because she is in a muslim country. We are wondering how long the process of the I-129F will take to process for approval and wondering if anything can help speed up the process besides just waiting. Thankyou very much for any suggestions and may we keep in touch.

K3 is currently only theoretically faster than CR1. It was designed years ago to be far faster but now it's possible to actually delay the visa process by filing an I-129F for spouse. It most circumstances, I wouldn't file one.
