I am very sure pinay is not all like that!

I am a filipina that never dream to marry a foreigner but kind of funny coz i've always been into a long distance relationship. Before my hubby i have an x bf he is one year older than me and he is richer than my husband now. My hubby still taking his master when we met and we don't even have a house until now he is not poor he is not rich like my x bf do but we both live happily and i am contented to live with him in a small one bedroom apartment:-) for now^_^

Important is you both love each other and he loves you more as you do and take care of you..they are not perfect and still have culture difference but at least he is trying his best to please and do everything for you.

I can say i am so lucky to have him and i am so proud and i didnt regret of marrying a foreigner. LOVE is all that matters and love need to roam arround or see other side of the world to find your behalf!

:dancing: :joy:

I bet that most men who read the title of this thread suddenly felt insecure about something. But don't worry, boys, it's not what you think!

My question is this ... if the size of your fiance's wallet is very small, even with his big heart, will this diminish your desire to pursue the dream of going to America to marry and live with him?

Nope, for the simple reason that I love him truly and I will definitely work too. We will be helping each other through and through. I'm used to providing for myself.

I know that u heard a lot of bad things about Filipinas (esp in the financial aspect) and what the heck I heard that too! I was still in high school when I foresaw myself getting married to a foreigner and I could just shrug if asked for i don't why. If I did want things easier for me and in an instant I wouldn't have gone through the sacrifices of college and working for 8 years to prove to myself that I could provide for myself and even for my family. And mind you, my younger sister finished a 4-year college degree of BS Medical Technology with me financing everything from every day and personal expenses to tuition fees. I paid for literally everything. My point is, not all Filipinas are rotten by their wants to make their life easier in an instant even if they had to marry somebody they don't love.

So for me, it's not how much money the person has that really matters but how responsible he is. Having a big heart but having no job is a different story. I think they are even contradictory.

And of course it's the true and strong love that u have for each other which makes the couples happy and the relationship long lasting. If one happens to find a guy with the "bigger size", then she must be thankful but then again it's not the basis of true happiness.

:star: I would even be happy if I would be the one earning more and who could make us rich. With that I would consider myself ONE HELL OF A WOMAN!!!
