I've been looking on IGORS list and it seems between 50 ~ 100 of the lowest numbered profiles may be from people not be actively pursuing a visa. (Last visit to VJ months and months ago)

From prior experience what would you estimate the inactive K-1 filers to be?

Also from NOA2ers :) Where were you at on the list at the time you received your NOA2?

Thanks in advance!

SOme people come here for information but don't exactly update their profiles... Don't worry about the # it is totally un-offical the list and only represents VJ and the number of people who are filing in the same block of time as you

Emmett Fitz-Hume: I'm sorry I'm late, I had to attend the reading of a will. I had to stay till the very end, and I found out I received nothing... broke my arm.

LOL, Yeah I know its fairly irrelevant but I'm an IT / Computer Science guy. Its hard looking at the data and being a nerd about it.

From IGORS last 20 processed it looks like they are solid in September and beginning to scratch the surface of October. When I take that information and combine it with the FAQ thread (from the privious service center employee) I wonder what things have happened to those pre August applicants. For the ones that are really active I certainly feel for them...

Back to my original question,,, I was just wondering if there was a common theme of being around 80 on IGORS and magically receiving the NOA2... I would certainly like to know where Imane & Robin were who filled in OCTOBER

You'll find threads on here where people post their Igor's list # when approved. I'd say it ranges from 150's and down. In addition, I think Vermont is more like solid August filers and scratching the surface of September. October was a fluke. I agree with your comment stating that many people on VJ are long gone and haven't updated; however, there are definitely june/ july people, maybe earlier, who are still waiting.

I don't think I am even ON the list anymore!!!!!!! NOA1 April 23rd with NO NEWS AT ALL!!!

It's AMAZING how much it fluctuates and actually it seems to have ABSOLUTELY no rhyme or reason to why some people fly through and others sit and wait months and months for no reason. So there is definately no MAGIC NUMBER on Igor's list. my thoughts to you.. PLan on it taking 6 months. That way if you are one of the early ones you will be pleasantly suprised. I planned on getting it in 3 - 4 months and now 9 months later I feel like we have been to hell and back more then once.

I can't imagine how you must be feeling. I really do hope you get yours soon.

Also, just to agree... Igor's list doesn't really mean anything. Apparently one person got approved after 4 days once, so they were probably number 300+ on Igor's. Sadly it's all about luck.
