shrewd, i know its hard to deal with esp from miles away, just know that the frustration ain't going nowhere.. (as u probably already do) men are just different and us women are more likely to make things happen and not cry over spilled milk and keep it moving..

they are our rocks but we are the strength.. vent and then vent some more, but know that no matter what that is the man u want by ur side and then u smile and shake it off..

i can say RG has gotten himself in a situation a few times where I said, "what the heck is he thinking" i tell him about it, he says he understands, he should of listend to me and he won't do it again but low and behold something in his head tells him its the right thing to do yet again.. GIRL.. i get vex fi tru..

"is this the kind of reasoning i want to help direct my and my family's destiny" but in the end his benefits outweigh his faults and he is not so misguided all the time LOL.. a so it go...

I just tried a recipe that didn't go as planned. I was going to make coconut candy based on a recipe on-line. Directions were 3 cups sugar, 1 cup milk & 3 cups coconut. Boil sugar & milk until thin syrup forms, add coconut until mixture thickens, spoon out on cookie sheet w/wax paper. Well, the darn mixture never thickened properly so I just started spooning. It's blobs of coconut steeped in sugar milk syrup. Maybe it will harden a bit when it cools....oh well, you win some, you lose some!

Brown sugar? Did you chop up fresh coconut? Conconut drops those are. Love those.

The recipe called for granulated sugar?? I used shredded coconut in a bag. I think I need to find a better recipe!

Andre takes a whole fresh conconut and chops it into really small pieces. Then, he uses brown sugar.

Afternoon guys.

I am in one vex mood today.

Been there for a while now, Shrewdie. What's up?

I think all men are like that at sometimes, Shrew - I have tried to learn to pick my battles, and let him bear the consequences of his own actions - it's a hard lesson to learn. Hang in there

That works if it doesn't permanently effect you as well. Wish it were so simple all the time, Sus.

Thanks for the calming advice Sus! I try to remember that, but its so frustrating that we are dealing with this right before he comes home, ya know?

He needs to feel his consequences a little more heavily!

when him actually see how mad it gets you or how it really affects you well he will do something if not tie him up and give him a presentation with a slide and mek him see the errs of his ways

hahahaha. good idea Jakeswife.

Are yall's husbands like this?

They do something that makes your blood boil and you tell them and they come back with "mi sorry" and chat bout how they never knew, blah blah blah

then do the SAME THING again?!?!

How about actually write it down, he reads it, and then a day later says what did I do that made you so mad??????????????????

Well, she was talking about sugar and conconut, boiled and then dropped on wax paper. That's how Andre makes his coconut drops.

okay ya'll want to laugh, my friend is here from Jamaica and his wife tried to make "fritters", but she used pancake mix...this was back in November big Thanksgiving day breakfast, she called is pancake fritters and her family was eating it with with pancake syrup. His family didn't touch any of them. She then tried to make esovitch that didn't turn our right either. Someone told her to pour 2 cups of vinegar on the fish....YUCK!

jomo, girl u are RIGHT about that.. there are times when irresponsibility is unacceptable and should not be looked over ESP when there is a lack of caring, remorse or desire to improve.. some men are like this, and we can't let them bring us down becuz we are trying to make it work.. i am sure shrewd's hubby doesn't fall in this category tho or she wouldn't have picked him..
