ok, yall i need suggestions.. i am taking the pinckney with me in April to meet D, one pinckney is 10 ( the hungry one) and one will be 16 next week ( lawd help me) i am trying to locate accomodations cheaply, and am having not much luck, i thought about doing an AI so they will be entertained , i wont need to babysit them and they can eat all they want( which would be the highlight of the trip for them) but it is expensive specially since that is spring break time, going after spring break isnt an option because i already have 5 days off from work that wont require me to use my vacation time bank, i am looking at villas around ochi and mammee bay, but then i will be spending more for food and cab fare, so i need some suggestions. If i can get under 1200.00- 1500.00 for a week, i would be in business,, but that may not be realistic.??????

i really agree with you about the all inclusive arrangement. you can check with jamaica grande and find out if shaw park does it too. it's hard to constantly be thinking about their eating arrangements and so forth and try to make time to do other things when u can just sit back and enjoy yourself with them. now if you can afford it i think you should go with it.

Question......has anyone ever bought anything from Courts on-line? They have an option of purchasing items and paying for it with your credit card -- then they contact the person in Jamaica who you bought it for and make the delivery arrangements.

You can cut out the Western Union service fee (by not sending cash) by doing this. Just wonder if anyone has tried it and what the outcome was.

We have done it and it works out fine, the only thing I would suggest is that you have the individual go look at the item you are buying because it may not be quite what you think it is, Courts is the furniture/appliance store, that's the one ypu are speaking of correct.

my boys love to swim and the water, though i dont really want to spend a grip, at least if they are at the Grande they can swim, use the lighthouse waterslides, eat all freakin day, go to kids club etc... and if i dont do that then we will be eating out everyday which in the long run may be as expensive as spending the AI money, on the flip side they have every JA souvenir they need, so we could save money on not buying that type of stuff and they may enjoy doing dunns river, though i did it twice and am in no hurry to do it again or maybe mystic mountain.. all that is gonna get expensive....( sigh) oh well, looks like its about time to pick up another side job real quick. too bad im not skinny, i would go dance somewhere...LOL ) j/k
