Does anybody know what time MrsBuggy's interview was? Isn't it today?

7:30 this morning.

I just want to say that I finally met Claire, Portland, Anthony, and Claire's cousin (?) Simone last nite. They are truly nice people and I had a great time at the Red Room! Even though NC isn't all fast, we still managed to have a good time out. I hope that won't be the last time that I see you guys either!

Aww nice!! Who's going to post the pictas??

Thank you Hotlegz!!!

My SO is from Green Island but works in Negril.

I haven't filed anything yet. I plan to file K-1 or fiance visa. One step at a time first. Just going back to visit with my family and want to plan out places to go. I have done some research about K-1 and remember seeing a forum on places to visit on this site. I just joined visajourney.com today.

Yes. I spoke with an immigration lawyer and he suggested that we plan to file K-1 because it is faster than the other option. Sorry I don't remember what it was called but you had to get married in Jamaica. I am going down in May and will gather the requested items that the lawyer needs to submit the file. This is very expensive.

Hotlegz are you doing K-1 too?

Personally, I don't think you need a lawyer - there are enough people here that can help you file on your own, and the guides are great.

Ok..u don't need a lawyer for one..and the other option is CR1..have u weighed the pros and cons of both? did u know if/when he gets a K-1 u have to lift conditions..meaning u have to pay another $1000+ to get a permanent GC=Greencard

Nope, I did CR1

Marie - I believe the ATI dates are Aug 6-10..that's what a few hotels told me when I searching for rooms. Sumfest is early this year. Damien did both in 2006....they keep moving the dates around.

Thanks Manya. Sumfest is the 19-25 but dancehal night is the 22nd. Looks like I'll be JA 3 weeks. I'm a teacher so I need to fill up my long summer. How did Damien like ATI? Looks like i need to start looking a hotel before they fill up

Okay..I thought I saw July 4-11 for Sumfest  those dates look right. We've been going to Sumfest for years and Damien loves ATI much better. I was there during the day last year and it was crazy. Going this year...gives me an excuse to stay in Negril instead of Mobay.

I heard about this the last time I was in Jamaica. So the dates are Aug 6 -10. That would be awesome if I could get down to Jamaica. I heard so much about ATI from last year.
