Now look what yall bad mouths done did! Got the thread closed down. Ah well. It was getting a little out of control over there. I thought it would be a good topic to discuss, cause I know personally I am interested in how peoples lives have changed once they are done with the visa processing and the traveling to visit stuff. When real life kicks in you realize that this relationship is not all different probably from any of the other ones you have had. So its just interesting to hear how everyone adjusts. it just got to much into name calling and stereotyping for it to go anywhere.

back to work i go... im so jealous, tomorrow JA soon come...LOL

im trying to figure out how to sneak in a quick 3 day trip... ( sigh) but i hope you and your husband have a wonderful Valentines day.. thats how its supposed to be shared, with the one you love.

Honey - you can still spend it with the one you love, just on the phone - or have him get to a webcam.

It's funny, when I was talking to DJ last night I told him how excited I am that my friend Nick is coming home and I am meeting him for lunch Sat - haven't seen him in 3 years, and he's shipping out to Iraq soon. DJ got really quiet - then finally admitted he was upset bc I was spending VDay with another guy - I burst out laughing - then finally managed to explain to him that Nick is really just one of the girls (if you get my meaning) - and I totally forgot that it was VDay!

Now look what yall bad mouths done did! Got the thread closed down.

sadly when my computer got stolen, i dont have access to a webcam anymore, i use my work computer most of the time these days now, and i swear if i could stop spending all my money on plane tix i could probably by another one.. but we will talk on the phone like we always do.

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved Atlantis - didn't stay there, but went over and wandered - gorgeous hotel! Just don't go down the slide near the shark tank, lol - they like the slide too!

You have to go to Senior Frogs one afternoon - we had so much fun there, the staff is hysterical -

wow... I read through the adjustment thread the other night and was going to comment...

To Marlita and the others that shared their stories :thumbs:

It is good information to have. I did not read what got the thing locked down today, maybe I will later :blink:

I did notice a few people who seemed awful judgmental of other people's posts/relationship... sad...

Nobody knows your struggle unless they have walked in your shoes, it is too bad that the thread is locked.

Good topics to discuss on a hypothetical and Marlita I hope you and your man continue the counseling and are successful.

10/14/08 Case complete!! Waiting for the interview date.... HURRY PLEASE!!!

01/06/09 Interview date: February 17 @ 7:30AM!!!!!!!

02/03/09 Hubby's dr's appt. (All went well)

02/17/09 Interview day... APPROVED! He should receive his Visa the first week in March.

02/24/09 My bday!! AND hubby was called to pick up his visa!!!! GREAT BDAY GIFT!!

03/27/09 My hubby surprised me at my job!!! Can not believe he's finally here!
