Jawi, thanks for this post, i was amazed.... condoms, until tested and re-tested. Joel is still mad abnout the second set of test, but it's my life.

I was very serious about this...he said I took it too far. Ask some of those ladies that now have HIV, how far they wish they had taken it.

I always get an HIV test with my yearly physical, so I re-took a test with him and I showed him my results.

Jawi, your friend will waste alot of her good years waiting for the Mr. rRght with the good paying job, there are more average men available, than above average. Also, there is probably 100 women chasing after that same man, so if she up for a good fight I say keep waiting.

She has gone through a lot of men...mostly drug dealer/hustlers. She tries to pretend that she didn't know what his lifestyle was when she starts dating him...until she was already deeply involved. (RIGHT) As soon as they tire of her, and stop bringing the $$, she finds a reason to break up with them. She once dated this older gentleman that lives in a mansion...very well off...but VERY MISERLY. She didn't know that he was tight on his ends...but another friend of mine knew him very well through real estate ventures. This other friend told me that the man wouldn't give a penny to his own mother to help her save her house if all she owed was the penny. So my friend tells me all about him, describes his mansion, even invited me over. She was beaming...then all of sudden she was no longer seeing him. LOL. She found out AFTER she gave up the draws that his wallet was not so easy. LOL.

That what usually happens, user generally use users. My daddy alwayds told me to marry a man that loves me more than I love him, because he will always treat you right. YUP, then you will find your self falling deeply in love with him.

I have never know anyone to hate kindness.

Honestly Rox...my jaw dropped when I read the posts. I'm certainly not trying to judge anyone or their intimate relationship. However, I am the same way...I have known A for over 4 years. We talked in detail about any STD histories...I don't care if it was cured or cleared up. We both got tested, and shared our results. A has been tested several times...and I get tested every year for STDs and HIV/AIDS. We just started foregoing condoms recently. I usually bring bags full on my trips.

My doctor told me that I did not need to be tested so much unless I had a high risk lifestyle. I told him that I don't live a high risk lifestyle, however, I am in a LDR with a HUMAN. I trust A completely, but I'm also logical enough to understand that things can happen...not that I condone it. I have never had an STD (PRAISE GOD in Heaven)...and I alone am responsible for my sexual health.

A loves the fact that I take so much pride in our health and well being. He said that he has never been with a woman that really stood by the use of condoms or being tested. Most women are okay with just the man's word and vice versa.

Good question Jaws..with me, we used condoms.even though we always discussed STDs...he had just taken an HIV test (his mother made him take it ..ahahhaa) thats one thing she did for him then I developed trust and even though we he was more ready than i was here comes Kimora baby wasn't the issue then of course when ur preggo u get an AIDS tests so there is another confirmnation...I always used condoms with my few ex..

exactly..i was always honest with kashi and he the same..and yes this is possible with trust..he was as concerned as i was..some ppl in JA/anywhere put it aside as if it's not serious enough

We used condoms. We talked abt AIDS, STDs. He took a test and so did I. I brought it to Jamaica to show him the results. I had to take another test when I was pregnant and everything is A okay

Even though Joel and I are married, we are still in a LDR, and I will insist that we use condoms. I can't nor do I want to take the risk, just yet. I love and trust my husband, but shyt does happens.
