Anyone know what the visa delivery fee is for DHL now? And is it per visa? This is for a friend's fiance and his son -

I think it was about $750, when I was in line there was also a husband and wife couple in line as well and they said they only need to pay for one delivery fee.

ok, ladies i have a question.. i was having D sign documents to bring home with me so when we decide to start the process and i noticed that he didnt sign in cursive where it says signature so i told him, im gonna have to download and resend the foms, cause your sig has to be cursive, am i right or wrong, and then he didnt even sign his whole name, just first initial and last name  i said babe, umm i dont think they will accept this, he was like WHY??

and i said do you know how many JA's may have the same first initial and last name as you  and then he said ok, but he still doesnt agree he needs to sign his full name in cursive??

what do you all think??

No big deal Honey, A signed his papers the same way. When we were at the interview I said sign your whole name this time!

Hey all just dropping by...Jahoney my hubby doesn't write in cursive either he prints his name so when he was signinig his forms he printed his name. it was no problem...he is practicing to write join up now cause I told him everyone is going to know how to forge his siggy...hubby is still looking for work...nothing so far...I guess we picked the worst time to come up to the US...jobs are scarce...i'm lucky to still have my job (knock on wood) since I work in the financial industry...on Wed they let go our entire desktop support group and outsourced it to some company and got rid of our entire loan syndication group and moved the work to Toronto...last summer we were a company of 1200 in the US and now we only have 300 employees...its bananas...they are moving everything to Toronto...my company is a canadian bank...

sorry for the long post just frustrated and confused with what's going on..:(

Sorry to hear this Jgay. It is a very scary time out there right now. Amazing what just 1 year makes. When we started going in this process my little local paper was full of jobs - there is 1 -2 posted each week.

thanks ells,

they have a glitch in there system at turbotax this year, it will complete the return but when it gets to error check it hangs up in the system and wont go any further, so you can complete it and move to the next step.. i have tried for the past three days...

shoot i need to buy 3 plane tickets for myself and my sons to JA, and i noticed the prices had gone DOWN when i checked last night so i want to make sure i have the money to act on it if the prices drop again

well my kids decided to spend the night with there grandma so its just me here tonight, guess i will break out the alcohol and have myself a drink

I used it to file my the other day and had no troubles. Got me e-mail from the IRS that they recieved my returns. Sorry...

hey dillion and portland. How's it going?

I'm sitting here eating cucumbers

Intimacy, like charity, begins at home. If we cannot be intimate with ourselves, we have no way to bring to intimacy with another person.

Intimacy with ourselves takes time. We need time for rest, time for walks, time for quiet, and time to tune into to ourselves. We cannot completely fill up our lives with activities and become intimate with ourselves. Nor can we just sit quietly indefinitely and become intimate with ourselves. We have to have the time and energy to be our lives and to do our live in order to establish and intimate relationship with ourselves.

Surprisingly, as we become intimate with ourselves, we discover our connection with others

If I had cucumbers I'd probably have a slice on each eyelid....I'm wearing one of those peel-off masks and it's drying. Soon I'll be able to peel my whole face off! So glamorous.... :star:
