Working two jobs can be a great thing - until it comes to tax time - Sorry to hear, Honey - I can sympathize, think I am gonna get hit because of my OT this year.

Have you plasticked in your windows? That is a huge way to cut the heating costs -

How do you do this?

Shrewdie there is this plastic you can buy at the store, you cut it to fit your windows and then you use a blowdryer and it suctions on to the windows or something like that and keeps cold air out, or you could be ghetto and just get some sheets of plastic and a roll of masking tape and cover all the windows, preventing a seal against any air coming thru the cracks.. basically you give up on seeing daylight again until spring hits, but it does work, i have just been lazy.. guess i better get on it.

Lawny while im over here sitting on my tail i need to be doing something, cause i BE DAMNED if i pay another bill like that in the upcoming months, its just ridiculous. That is a basic necessity to live, so we dont freeze to death and yet and still it is to the point where its almost unaffordable.

Shrew the kind I have at my house, let me see if I can explain it...you have to lay down these strips and then you clip the plastic sheets into them, it kind of looks like a one layer zip lock bag...I also check for drafts at the doors.
