kool. i was applying for more jobs today. i hope i get it i think it would be perfect for me. it's with a non profit org. that does rehabilitation for disabled folks right here in gary. i will be working in the clerical dept. if i get the job. i hope the pay is reasonable.i am thinking of going back to school to due a degree in social work.

well you know you would do good in the social work area, good luck on the job search

i hope so nells i feel like i don't want to just work to get a paycheck i want to be fulfilled. i know i would have to get a masters to do the counselling so this career goal might take some time.

BUT IT WILL PAY OFF IN THE END

Hey Rox...yeah, they updated my status on the website. The letter notifying me of the transfer itself was dated for the 15th. I checked my e-mail yesterday and I received an e-mail notice on the 20th stating that the case was at CSC. Then I checked uscis.gov and there was another update, I'm assuming a "touch" on the 21st.

Good luck with the job search Jakes....hope u get it! I've been a hospital social worker for the last 10 years but before I had my Master's Degree in social work, and did the hospital work...I did a bunch of entry level jobs in mental health. Like Roxie pointed out, u can atleast benefit from their tuition reimbursement plan if ur still interested in social work etc.

My child was home aswell, since I had gotten some new Bootlegged DVD's the other day, she was HAPPY. The weather is crappy, so I made some homemade soup, with some honey cornbread and a good salad.
