Hi ladies!

Just checking in quickly. Work has been so very busy lately I can barely find time to do anything for myself. The 7pm evenings and all day Saturdays are wearing on me however the good Lord is keeping me strong.

Dillon....be safe. Friend of mine is driving around S. St. Louis right now and said snow/sleet mixture coming down, very slick. They just got a call of another accident at the 44/55 split. I'm headed home in just a bit. Not playing around in this today.

I am being VERY safe I am working from home today since school was called off. You be careful too, get home and stay warm. At least your window isn't stuck down today!

Yeah, I am headed out in about a half hour or so. I'll be fine. What I worry about is Andre driving to work and back tonight. He won't be home till after 2. I'll be a nervous wreck.

I seriously feel for you all in the harsh winter climates. The division of my company that I support is in St. Louis and they are really hurting this year as the winter I guess has been worse than normal. I left the North in 1998 and vowed to never move back.

Yes KK.....and the message at the company meeting last week was "Do More with Less"! And although as managment I am onboard with doing whatever it takes.....I am already doing more with less. 2009 does not look like a good year for relaxation! I'm "hunkering down"!

I was surprised to see hardly no naturals in ATL.

Hey ladies! It has been a crazy a$$ morning here at work. One of our male clients was in the lobby trying to hug one of our female clients (and according to her, making inappropriate sexual comments to her). Mind you, he's like 6'4" and she's like 5'0" if that...well, she ended up slapping this piss out of him (which was actually pretty funny to me, but with a lobby full of psych clients, not such a good idea). Had to calm that situation down. THEN, not even 15 minutes later, another male client was becoming agitated about wanting to speak w/ a particular case manager about his finances. She was trying to assist him, BUT he refused to listen--only wanted to get himself worked up more and more. Finally, he was asked to leave the premises because he was interrupting the business of others. Well, he lost it and put his fist through a double-paned plexiglass window. I called the police because he left, and let them know that he was extremely volatile and dangerous, gave his description, yada yada yada. Now we're cleaning up and just trying to help the other clients and process the whole situation. I tell you, my first day back and THIS IS WHAT I HAVE TO DEAL WITH! CHO!

i live in Dallas girl and my only safe haven is when i go to my african and reggae clubs w/ other likeminded people...embracing their natural essence

(maybe that is why i am ALWAYS there???? no my girl..u jus FASS, trying to get all ur partying out b4 RG COME!!! )

Hubby did that to me ONE time, IW....stood me up at the airport. Ripped him a new one and he never did that again.

He always come back at me that when I fly into Kingston he was there early waiting for me and how I don't understand what it's like on the bus. I think if I didn't have a car and the ability to get around myself I would probably be ripping more. But I know I can get around Mobay and as far as Ochi by myself so I'm more lax on him.

question for you Island...What's your reason for flying into Mobay? I have been debating between KIN and MBJ due to my honey being in Port Antonio..and the cost and time is much better going into KIN. Is it just a comfort level?

Yes there has been some bad blood between us Quanna I think that is why I am even more upset. I have tried to reach out to her and put it behind us but no matter how hard I try she keeps doing things like this. In one way I don't feel like saying anything because things won't change but I don't think I should have to supress how I am feeling. Not to mention how Marley felt because it was really her idea to get the gift card in the first place so she was upset as well. She doesn't want the gift card so we are going to send it to Conmar's neice.

And I am with you 9 times out of 10 when we have gone, Chuck E doesn't even come out and if he does you just stay away from him. Get over it!

hey ladies. here's my take i think the best person to speak with is your SIL . it would be very awkward to involve your brother in the situation behind her back reason being he is going to talk to her about it and she will realize that you were hurt. say it t her face. let her know the meaning of the gift and then let the chips fall where they may. it maybe her trying to be bitchy or just thinking since they don't want it why not give it back. other people like myself would just use it or give it to someone without you knowing all you would know is that my child got the gift. i agree it is tacky for her to give it back so let her know how u feel.
