WOW, Wakey - Here's a link to the Ministry of Education - they have an email address:

http://www.moec.gov.jm/

Thanks so much SUS!!!

Intimacy, like charity, begins at home. If we cannot be intimate with ourselves, we have no way to bring to intimacy with another person.

Intimacy with ourselves takes time. We need time for rest, time for walks, time for quiet, and time to tune into to ourselves. We cannot completely fill up our lives with activities and become intimate with ourselves. Nor can we just sit quietly indefinitely and become intimate with ourselves. We have to have the time and energy to be our lives and to do our live in order to establish and intimate relationship with ourselves.

Surprisingly, as we become intimate with ourselves, we discover our connection with others

Wakey that is insanse. I had Marcel look into getting a duplicate back in January last year and his highschool was giving him a hard time. He went to 3 different schools high schools and the last one was a pain the a$$ when it came to providing any information, so in April I had to go down there and show my other side. We paid $1500 for the duplicate. We had to get the JP in his area to help us.

$400/US wah the hell is that to cover on rass piece a paper. I tell people to try and get all that info before you get here, because it's a headache once you're in the states. $400/US is too much...damn we didn't even pay that much to have my dad's property resurved, a drawing, a new deed and title created. That is just crazy.

There is a link on that site about requesting copies of records - I forget what it said, but it would be worth emailing them to see what they say - I agree that $400 sounds way way way too high - You could fly down and back for that! He might be better off just taking his GED

And that's what a lot of my friends end up doing.

Dang it..I feel like I'm going to have to hook one up..I can't believe they want that kind of money.. I'm reading the site gave me now to try to get more details on how to get it. I'm so frustrated because I I told him to be sure he got one before coming to the States..

yeah we may have to go that route..I surely don't want to pay for him to take the GED either...

He called his brother who graduated from same school and his brother is going to go see someone he knows there tomorrow. He said it was crazy what they were asking for.
