Processing Center

Hi all,

If I filed my EAD and AOS concurrently, Where exactly do they process the AOSand is the EAD processed thereas well? I am trying to check the processing dates but dont know if it id Nebraska, California, Chicago or National Benefit Center. PLease help me find the location, all responses are appreciated.

Hey Felicia, how are ya? The EAD is processed at the National Benefits Center (or so they say---we never got ours! :-) ) The AOS will have preliminary processing completed at the National Benefits Center in Missouri as well. The file will stay at NBC until the interview has been scheduled and then will be forwarded to your local district office. The interview letter is mailed from Missouri though (we just got ours yesterday...hehe). As far as processing times, check the NBC for the EAD processing date and your local DO for the AOS processing date. Keep in mind that the DO's processing dates are not updated as often (usually about once every 4-6 weeks) and may or may not be accurate. I was just told on Wednesday that the Phoenix office is still doing interviews for May AOS apps and then we got our interview letter three days later when our app date is in December. So take the processing dates with a grain of salt. Hope everything is going good. Have a great day!
