I am very sad today when my fiance called me telling me that he got laid off again. For sure our papers is already at USEM Manila and perhaps i will have the USEM letter by next week.I guess the Noa2 is valid for four months? And it's gonna be 4 months already this March. At the moment it's really hard to find a job in US due to the global crisis. I am really worried.....all the needed documents are all set but unexpectedly this problem came in huh!WHat shall i do now? Any advice pls??????

If it is a temporary lay off, your fiance can still get an employer letter stating his prospect for employment with the firm, the particulars of the lay off, and his expected salary for 2009.

Hokey Smoke!

Rocky: "Baby, are they still mad at us on VJ?"

Bullwinkle: "No, they are just confused."

Did your fiance already get a certified letter from his employer for the embassy interview before he was laid off? You will need that letter for the interview. If he didn't have it already, he could ask for a similar letter explaining that he was employed there full time up to the date of the lay-off.

He has already the employment letter, form I-134,paystubs,bank statement, ITR and W2, He sent it yesterday and probably three days from now it will be in my hand.I am just thinking if it is still valid if i am going to use it during my interview.
