lie about how we exactly met before the wedding?

Hi,

I am a little worried. My husband and I met a little more than two years ago in a night club where he used to work. But he was in the coat check and it was paid under the table. Can we say that during the interview? because I am sure they will ask how we met but I don't want him to be in trouble since he never filed any taxes when he worked there. He was still a student at that time too.

What to do?

Who is the USC petitioner?

Lots of people meet in nightclubs.

So there you have it. Not a lie.

"How did you meet?"

"we met in a nightclub"

Nooooo problemo. Being less forthcoming with the whole truth, isnt lying. It's omitting.

Hi,

I don't want him to be in trouble since he never filed any taxes when he worked there. He was still a student at that time too.

What to do?

To cover the relevant piece, who is the USC petitioner? Income is essential in this process. If the beneficiary is described above, no worries. Conversely, if the USC petitioner is described above, you may have income proof issues.

my husband is the USC who worked in the night club.

we also asked my brother in law who lives with us to help with the affidavit of support. but my husband also had a job and he qualifies for being a financial support. it's just to be sure that my brother in law is joining him.
