When to do the medical examination?

Hi,

I was wondering when to do the medical exam.

Our case got approved through email a few days ago, and I wonder if I have to wait until packet 3 reaches my home address?

Or can I make the appointment before that?

Packet 3 has to be sent back to the embassy, is that after the medical exam is done? Or before?

Do I need my fiance's original birth certificate or is a copy enough?

How long do I have, once packet 3 reaches my home address, to send it back?

What about packet 4 ? Is that after packet 3 is received by the embassy?

Gosh I am more and more confused about this whole process and it's even harder since we're both out of our home countries all the time!

Packet 3 has to be sent back to the embassy, is that after the medical exam is done? Or before? according to their instructions, after the medical. Or you can just tell them when you`re gonna have all the paperwork. they are not very difficult about it.

Do I need my fiance's original birth certificate or is a copy enough? I think I took an original one (not a 100% sure though). go to the city hall and ask for an international birthcertificate, i dont know about other cities but in Ieper it was free. I got 4 or so (just to make sure).

How long do I have, once packet 3 reaches my home address, to send it back? I believe at least a couple of months. The 129F approval is good for 4 months. But again, they are not very difficult if it takes you longer.

What about packet 4 ? Is that after packet 3 is received by the embassy?yes, it`s just the interview letter.
