I am wondering if anyone has found an inexpensive way to call to Thailand. My wifes cousin, in Chicago, has just told her about www.tollthai.com

We are trying it now and it seems to work great. It is $0.01 per minute to Thailand with a $0.99 fee applied every two weeks and the credit is good for 90 days. You buy a $20.00 credit to begin. Its strange the first time you use it and it says " you can talk for 1 day and 9 hours" It is working great for us!

Skype is definitely the cheapest. What I do is ring my wife there two times, two consecutive calls - this is my signal to her to call me with Skype. It's cheaper to call U.S. (2 cents/min) with Skype than to call Thailand (6c landline-12 cents mobile/min) with Skype.

Otherwise, I use Thaitel when she's not at the PC.

I just use PINGO. It also keeps records of all my calls, which was good for my I-129F and visa interview.
