I think the CSC mystery has been solved -- aparently the H1B visas (skilled worker) the application start date was April 7, so CSC basically hit a brick wall as those get processed before family (our) visas. Thankfully, those things are capped, and they should start moving again on their regular visas soon! Hopefully they continue their earlier trend of cleaning up the older applications before they move on further!

I wonder if this is affecting VSC too. They had an astonishing 12-approval day last Thursday, but 0 since.

i have my interview on the 3rd of june. B)

but they won't issue me the visa. I mean, i am hoping so, i have to make a trip to usa from the 18 to the 23rd of june and only able to leave usa in august.

Anyone thinks that's possible?

or what do they do in such case?.

the ticket has been already bought and, i have good reason to go there(VIA--> Very Important medical Appointement with my fiancé), and even more reasons to be back (a son)

You probably want to call or e-mail the embassy, but I really don't think that you can go to the interview, NOT have them issue the visa, then take your passport back later for the visa. I think its risky. Why don't you postpone the interview? Or, prepare to move to the US in June?

Hey guys! Been a while since I've lurked here, because we've been moving a bit slow since NOA2 :star:

Chiaki got her medical, police, and family record stuff sorted out, and she's going to schedule her interview on Saturday (seems probable for some time in June). Otherwise not much to note, everything is going pretty normally!

Hope all is well

If you're starting already, then you're in big trouble when the big day comes! I'm concentrating on figuring out something to send him that he could take with him into the embassy since people seem to say they brought a book but couldn't concentrate on it anyway!

I'd rather it be me. I'd be less nervous. His appointment is at 8:30, I am hoping he will be done by 10:30 or 11, either way...I probably either will not sleep at all, or will get up super early lol. I don't do well when I am not in control haha.
