January '09 I-129 filers at CSC

I just realized that Monday is MLK Day which means they can't cash my check And probably means they are not working?

Hey guys. I got my NOA 1 today in the mail! Yay!! I posted a few hours ago that I was waiting but wanted to share that I just got it. Now... the clock starts! Laura... it might take a few extra days for them to cash your check but it will be soon. They cashed mine 1 day after they received it. Gopd luck!

They recieved mine on Thursday, and someone in another post pointed out that its possible they made it a 4 day weekend and took Friday off. I'm hoping that's all it is and that nothing's wrong with my file!!

I am soooo nervous too, but I have been waiting longer! and the suspense is killing me! What the heck is taking so long? It took forever for the package to arrive so I guess my NOA1 ( if I get one) will be dated for January!! arrrgghh! Cmon cash the cheque already! If not send it back so we know what to correct!! Looking at some timelines I am not the only one who has waited more than 15 or so days for an NOA1...but they are rarer it seems! Ok vent done! Hope to hear something by the end of this week!! Good luck to all of you still waiting as well!! Please pray for me!!

We need to get this thread more active..but then maybe I am the only one obsessing over this?? And of course it was right before christmas so everything was so slow! I guess I kind of consider myself both December and January LOL! I am obsessing too, going to give myself an ulcer! I looked over everything before we sent it in 3x!! I just need to hear something soon!

i think i've checked my bank account like 10 times today. luckily i have class in like 90 minutes for SIX hours so i cant check it for awhile so i can stop obsessing..kinda. btw, I'm laura, 22, I go to school near chicago but am from indiana..care to introduce yourself?? seems like we will be in this together so it would be nice to know eachother a bit more

My fiance is the one that has the US bank account so I can't even check it!! gaaahh! I am getting sick of asking him if he's checked his bank account!! LOL Anyways, I am Andrea, 24, the beneficiary from Canada. I met my fiance while I was in the US going to school we have been together for almost 4 years now and I can't wait to get this process over with so we can get married! Its so hard to plan a wedding without a date! Oh and nice to meet you Laura! I hope we both have a speedy process!

Yes I hope they start doing things faster! But also in a first come first serve basis! There are so many people from this summer not approved yet and they are approving some non-expedite November filers!! I don't want to end up like the people waiting from summer 08!! I will stress less once I know that the check has been cashed or somebody is at least handling it!! Anyways, hope to hear from you again soon!

My fiance just called!! The NOA1 just arrived in the mail today!! The check hasn't cashed yet, but hopefully tomorrow!! I have a case number!! Weird how the receipt date was Jan 13, issue date was Jan 14!!! So excited!!!
