I'm so very excited for all of you. Congrats :D Its got me all hyped up and excited to see so many of you getting your approvals so quickly. It was like an explosion all in one day. I'm sure you will get notice from NVC soon Heather!

I also got my NOA 2 approval yesterday in the mail! I posted it but I don't see it in the thread. Jan 14 NOA1 and March 19 NOA 2! This is awesome that they are moving so fast! Congrats to all!

Speaking of NVC....does it matter if the petitioner or beneficiary calls NVC for information on the case? I know that USCIS it must be the petitioner, but was just wondering. I am trying to hold off asking my fiance (USC) to call NVC, I am just too impatient! Well back to packing for the flight to Omaha tomorrow!!

Quick question-- did you find out first on the USCIS website? or in the mail? EVERYONE IS GETTING THEIR NOA2!!! I'm getting so antsy-- especially when I see people that submitted theirs after I did get approval.

1/14 sent Form I-129F to the CSC

1/20/09 check cashed

1/23/09 NOA1 notification (via post)

4/22/09 NOA2 notification (via email)

4/27/09 NOA2 notification (via post)

4/26/09 DOT/NVC received petition

4/28/09 DOT/NVC sent petition/package to US Embassy in Sydney (via DHL)

6/03/09 Received Checklist for intervew date ("Packet 4") -- interview scheduled for June 23rd!!!

i am getting anxious too, there were total 5 couples with same NOA1 date as mine. other 4 are approved allready,, m the one left...

but i guess all we can do is wait.

a LOT of people didn't get case updates, and the NOA2 just appeared in their mailbox :) so yours might be on the way! are you the USC, or from Japan??

Yeah you are right, i have noticed that too that nvc is taking longer than i used to see before, i guess because so many petitions have just been approved? when i call nvc they say csc is taking a while

Yeah you are right, i have noticed that too that nvc is taking longer than i used to see before, i guess because so many petitions have just been approved? when i call nvc they say csc is taking a while

I called today, I didn't expect anything but just wanted to see what they would say. First of all, I did have to wait a few min on hold, but I was expecting to hold a LONG time because it was like 12:30 EST. The lady I talked to was super nice, and said that it takes 2-4 weeks for the case to arrive at NVC. Hopefully it goes more quickly than that! I will probably wait to call again until I get the paper copy of NOA2, and then call like every day, or every other day. Do we know if NVC is just Mon-Fri? Or Saturday too? We can always hope, right? haha.
