I filed on January 20th and I just checked today and I got approved on March 20th. I've been using this forum as a resource so I thought I'd return the favor by letting you guys know that you may be next! :) I didn't have any touches since January 20th. 2 months is fairly quick!

Omg! Congrats everyone! Im so excited for you guys, and it gives me a lot of hope. I wish I could see my online status so I could see when a touch arrives (if it ever does) but at this rate it looks like I won't be online until I get approved  Hopefully you get your NOA2 later this week then laura!

This thread is so exciting these days, people getting touches, and so many NOA2s!

I'm glad that you guys are moving along too!

On a side note, I did go buy that dress yesterday, and after having slept on it, I find that I have buyer's contentment (the opposite of buyer's remorse). :D

Another Approval!!!

I had a touch on 03/16/09 and the website still shows case pending. But today, I got the approval notice in mail dated 03/16/09.. I took about 5 business days to arrive to Wisconsin..

A touch might be an indication that your approval notice is in the mail.. Good luck to those who are still waiting...

Thanks to all VJers and Congrats to all who've gotten their NOA2... To those still waiting, you won't have long now, I'm sure. At this rate CSC will run through their backlog of petitions by next month!!!

Andrea - It does appear we'll be trekking along together through this process. Perhaps you and Shannon will end up at the Vancouver Consulate on the same day... Keep us posted.

thanks dear :) our fiances can go through it all together now!

I just hope it goes this fast for the rest of the jan. filers. For what its worth, my lat updated changed at around 6 (eastern) I think..it was after I woke up from a nap. And then i check that thing like every 5 minutes, and then stopped to take a shower, etc at 11ish, and aroun 11:30, IT CHANGED! So it CAN change late at night :)

Hooray!!

I was going to call NVC today, but I am trying my best to hold off - I think I should expect something in the snail mail. *sits on hands!!*

I keep trying to tell myself that there are people in REAL rushes and I don't need to go tying up phone lines because I'm too impatient for snailmail...:D
