Actually, I'm not sure I'd be able to sleep if I saw a touch on there but it didn't say it was approved...Maybe I'll have to make a rule. No case status checking after 6pm....;) I was going to say no case status checking at all, but I didn't think I could follow through.

APPROVED!!!!!!

I got waaaay more excited than I thought I would when I got it!!!! YES!!!

Also, I saw someone say it came in a "large" envelope...I was afraid when I saw a small one from Department of Homeland Security that it was like college letters - little envelope means "NO"..

But it's not! APPROVED March 13!!! :D :D :D

Alright, now that I've got my signature all fixed, time line updated, and other approval related threads responded to (Hope that grouches who try to tell Jan filers that we shouldn't expect them take notice!!)....

I'd just been calling around trying to find a store that had a dress I want to look at in stock, and no one had it. I checked the mail, figuring that the way that the afternoon was going, there wouldn't be anything in there. Well, there were some envelopes....

A colored one!! (Ooh, that's special! Maybe it's THE envelope??!)

-- No, it's special colored because it's from the wedding coordinator. Booring.

Bill.

Something else.

A plain, thin, standard sized white one....from the Department of Homeland Security (I thought it was going to be a large one??? Maybe it's like getting into college - large is good, small is BAD??)

-- No, Small is GOOD! SMALL GOOD! :D

Imagine, some people used to think that laying out by the pool next to the mailboxes was a relaxing way to spend the afternoon...NOPE!! Also, scared my cats right under the bed, bounding about trying to get the computer turned on....and NOONE could understand my screeching over the phone! :)

If he's not feeling good about getting in there, you should send him to look around the UK regional forum. There are several posts in there about recommended hotels to stay at and all sorts - even which underground lines to take to which station and how you walk to the embassy from there! There are a lot of people from around the city that weren't really wild about going there but escaped again unscathed. :)

Well so far I have not received another touch since 3/18/2009 and I am disappointed, just wondering what comes next. I really wish I could understand the inner workings of CSC, I just hope I receive some good news soon instead of finding out I am stuck in a security check or something.
