Hey fellows,

We have the AOS fee bill now, we also got the IIN.

My question is, do we need to send first the DS3032 and wait for it to be accepted, before we pay the AOS, or we can do it both at the same time?

feedbacks please....

The AOS fee can be paid as soon as you have your IIN.

Yes, send out the DS-3032 now. The DS-3032 is not connected to the AOS. The DS-3032 must be accepted before the IV fee will be generated. Once it is accepted your IV fee will be generated and once that is registered as paid your DS-230 can be sent. Good luck.

Thanks OBX.

I'll send the DS 3032 through email, does it need any barcode like when you will snail mail it?

or just the plain template from the jame's shortcut?

I used the template from Loto's guide (http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Email_DS-3032_form).

In the subject line I put my NVC case#, full name and DOB. I did not receive a read receipt but it was accpeted via email about 6 days later. Good luck.

Ok. My DS3032 is on its way to NVC. I'll snail mail it soon.

After my husband spoke with our attorney in Amman a second time today, sounds like he sent EVERYTHING in and he said he is waiting for an agent number???? Not sure, but I've been trying to call NVC all day and it has been busy...seems like everyone from the MENA forum has been calling them! :)

Hey Amanda,

Did you pay the AOS ($70.00) and IV ($400.00) fees online? Just curious how long it takes to show up as "Paid" (versus "In Process") on the website. I submitted them earlier this afternoon so trying to get a sense of when I would be able to print out the cover pages.

Thanks....Argent

I wish I could help you out Argent. My attorney told me not to pay anything and just send him all the paperwork I get immediately. He paid the AOS fee...not sure about the IV fee. He didn't even tell us if he paid online or how...so I have no way of checking online to see if they are paid (at least I guess I don't becuase I didn't pay online)...so I am waiting to see if the AVR is updated...I've been trying to call NVC today to get an idea of what next, when how ...etc. :( I'll let you know if I find something out.

Not a problem Amanda! I just checked and saw that the status of both of the payments shows as "Paid", so we should be good there.

Hey Chrito,

Do you have an attorney handling your paperwork? The reason I ask is because our DS-3032/AOS fee bill were mailed (US Mail) to our attorney here in Texas and not to me. And even though the AVR at NVC said they were sent out on 02/09, the attorney did not receive them till 02/17.

I'm a lil worried here coz others said that in a matter of days they at least received a response from NVC saying that they received the email, and there will be another email confirming that the DS3032 is accepted...

But in my case, eversince I emailed it last 16, still I haven't receive a response from them, does this mean they didn't received it? or should I send it again?

I received the hardcopy of DS3032 just few moments ago so I'm thinking if I should still mail this, or my husband who is in US who also got a copy of DS3032 that I already signed.

If you just emailed it on the 16th I wouldn't worry. It typically takes almost a week for the email to be accepted. I did not receive a read receipt when I sent ours and it was accepted after 6 days. If your husband has a signed copy have him mail the hard copy from the US just to be safe. (The short-cut guides will give instructions for making the bar-code)
