Hola a todos quiero hacer una pregunta acerca del ajuste el status. mi esposo ya le llego el permiso de trabajo y todavia sigue pendiente la residencia permanente quiero saber tan pronto esta sea aprobada que pasos tengo que seguir luego que la misma sea aprobada- rapido te dan una entrevista que cosas hay que llevar?

Puede que le den una entrevista, puede que no. Si les dicen que tienen que entrevisarse, el USCIS le avisa por medio de carta con la lista de los documentos que deben de llevar. Por lo general son las mismas cosas que ya les ha enviado y también pueden llevar toda la evidencia que puedan para demostrar que tienen un matrimonio legítimo.

Una vez aprobado el AOS, es sino esperar la tarjeta de residencia por correo. Si llevan menos de 2 años casados, entonces es válida por 2 años y luego la tienen que renovar para recibir la tarjeta de 10 años. Pero si llevan casados más de 2 años, ellos le mandan la tarjeta válida por 10 años.

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview
