Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

I haven't heard much about his aunt, the illegal alien. It's another sign it's not a big issue to him and there's little pressure to change the system with the poor economy taking precedence.

Considering that his administration, by all appearances, will basically be a coalition of left-wing special interest groups... I can't see how that would help the VJ crowd.

The only exception may be if he manages to depress American prosperity so much that there's no illegal immigration left. In that case, I suppose checking applications for fraud will get considerably easier.
