I was told the NVC is done scheduling for February, so for those who get scheduled for March let's gather, so we know when they start scheduling. I don't have a date yet, but my completion date was Dec 1, 2008... so I am hoping I will get a March date.

NVC:

They received: 9/24/2008

Case Complete: 12/1/2008

Interview: 03/24/2009

Received approved visa (after RFE in interview): 04/21/2009

Ok guys it is the first Monday in February, we will know if we have March interview dates in these next two weeks. Please let us know if you get yours scheduled! :thumbs:

Wow, and I was just setting up to send both my completed AOS and IV packages overnight tomorrow AM. And I was hoping DH will get a March interview date.... You've been waiting since last year... have you called NVC?

I wonder if it depends on the consulate where the interview takes place....

DS 3032 generated and accepted via email/ AOS I-864 generated : 2009-1-23

Received I-864 Bill : 2009-1-26

Pay I-864 Bill : 2009-1-26 status PAID 1-28

Pay IV Bill : 2009-1-26 status PAID 1-28

Send Completed I 864 and IV Package (overnight) : 2009-2-4 (had to wait for hubby's PC and original birth certificate to arrive)

Case Completed at NVC : 2009-2-11 !!!!

NVC Left : Received email March 3rd

Medical Completed : March 12, 2009

Interview Date : April 22, 2009. 8 am. VISA APPROVED!!!

Visa in Hand : April 27th, 2008!!! Arrival May 11th! POE JFK

Processing Estimates/Stats : Your I-130 was approved in 101 days from your NOA1 date. NVC completed in 26 days! Interview was 201 days from Noa 1.

Hello,..cute baby.. wow, I thought we have been waiting long for my husband's interview date..our case was completed DEC31.. I think it depends on the consulate,,.but have you called the NVC... When I called it still says.."your case was completed DEC31st and if it has been 8weeks and not heard from nvc please press 8now.." I still don't know what to do.. I hope we also get a march interview..we were hoping for a Feb. interview but they said my husband didn't make it to the Feb interview.. I hope they send the letter for interview within this week.. huh..NVC makes us wait for 9months! what is this the giving birth Visa..lol..

Good luck to all of us..I hope you will also get your interview.. :blush:

Hey, don't know if this is common knowledge but I phoned the US Embassy in London yesterday for a trivial matter about my medical and while I was on the phone I asked them when I could expect to be interviewed.

The lady told me they schedule for the following month at the end of the second week. So 14th of February, they schedule March in full. So the quickest you would wait is 2 weeks, the worst is 6 weeks unless you are held up by something. Then on 14th of March, they will schedule April.

I am hoping for a late March, early April interview date.

- OUR TIMELINE -

04/25/08 - sent I-130 to Chicago lockbox

05/05/08 - received NOA1, assigned to VSC

11/07/08 - transferred to CSC

12/16/08 - NOA2 by email - I-130 approved

12/20/08 - NOA2 in mail - 240 days

12/22/08 - NVC receive package

01/05/09 - we receive AOS Bill and DS-3032

02/12/09 - medical 04th Mar 2009 - NVC Complete - 314 days

04/28/09 - interview passed - 370 days

06/20/09 - visa arrived by courier

06/21/09 - POE Dallas Fort-Worth - 398 days to gain permanent residence (CR-1)

02/22/11 - Sent I-765 to Vermont Service Center

03/03/11 - Received receipt for I-765

04/04/11 - AOS interview and biometrics in Oklahoma City - took all of 20 minutes, no sweat

Currently waiting on my 10-year Green Card - Best wishes to everyone going through their journey!

I have called. I wasn't scheduled for Feb, but am hoping for a March date! They say they schedule the second week of the month, but it seems like in December and January they did their scheduling in the first two weeks of the month. I mean watching the timelines and reading threads, it seemed like more were scheduled in the first week than the second, but maybe there were special circumstances with the holidays and all. I don't know. Good luck with getting an interview everyone and I can't wait to see the March dates! :thumbs:

Hello & thanks 4 the smiling baby---made me smile. I called NVC & was told to call back next Friday (2/13) for March interview. I kept asking is it March for sure, and the rep said that she was pretty certain it would be. I think it depends on the # of approved petitions/embassy. You've been waiting awhile, si hopefully, March is your month. Good luck!--Amor1
