How long does it normally take a courier service to deliver a passport?

My husband is expecting his visa, the US Embassy in Islamabad said they sent the passport out yesterday and it is with the courier service, my husband lives about 2 hours from the Embassy, how long do you think it might take for the courier service to deliver the passport?

Nevermind, Ill answer my own question as my husband just called with good news.

It took 2 days total!!
