Info From INFOPASS - My case is in "work flow"

Hi Everyone,

My lawyer had an INFOPASS meeting today regarding my case, and here below is the email she sent me. On a separate but related note, I've only had Online Case Status for a week or so (it took USCIS 4 months to get me on their online case status system), and when I just checked it reads "Last Updated 1/14/2009" - is that a touch? Otherwise, no NOA2, but we're keeping our fingers crossed. Any thoughts? Best to all as always. The email from my lawyer today:

I have some encouraging news. When I checked your file today the officer told me that there had been a lot of activity on it on the last few days and today it has been designated as “work flow”. This could mean one of two things –they are getting ready to approve it or they are transferring to California (VSC has been a bit overwhelmed with these types of petitions in the last few months. As a result, they are transferring some of them to California). The Officer I spoke to did not have access to anymore specific information. I will keep my eye on it and will make an appoint in another three weeks if we don’t hear anything.

Ken1 hi,

Have you check at USCIS page your case status? If Last Updated 1/14/2009 then I am pretty sure you will be getting your NOA2 really soon!

What I dont get is that they are moving your case to CSC .... are you sure about that? I didnt thought it was possible!

Work Flow...dont know, .. well you know Vermont have been a little slow in their approvals, when I call USCIS they say VSC is working on March 2008 cases! and as you can see on IGOR list here at VJ there are much more approvals per week at CSC...

The good thin is that your last update is from last week! so be positive! It might be your approval
