hello all...

to all pinay na gumagamit ng yasmine..anong side effect sa inyo?it was my first time to take birth control pills and my ob gave me yasmine..its my 2nd day of taking it but i feel so defferent...masakit ang ulo ko..tapos masakit ang tiyan ko..dinatnan ako..i read a link about yasmine they say its normal and i will just wait for a couple of month..natatakot lang ako kasi may iba na ang side effect sa kanila dumadami taghiyawat..ayaw ko mangyari yong tsaka swing mood... :wacko:

yeah that is normal... mawawala din yan headache after ma used to na ang katawan mo... magiging regular din ang menstruation mo...inom ka lang ng tylenol for the headache... as for taghiyawat, i guess depende yan sa kada tao... wala ako tighiyawat nung uminom ako nyan...

yeah, its normal. I can still remember like hell when I first took yasmine. I feel like my head is about to explode.

but its normal. After a week or two, your body will get used with the hormone then your will be as good as the yasmine brings.

I love yasmine. the good side effects of it, are it makes your skin fair, "blooming" always, or course regular menstruation. I wonder if you take it after your menstruation as prescribed or you take it right away after you purchased it. you can easily manipulate your period, just take it a certain day so you'll get your period in a certain day too. Read the booklet.

Hi! I'm taking yasmine for ilang months now because of my polycystic ovary and endometriosis. Luckily i did not experience those side effects. I wonder if they have the same brand in the US. Kasi i need to take those until lumiit ang mga cysts ko. hehehe. Do you also have the same condition as mine? Sabi ng Ob-gyn ko if i experience anything with the pills, sabihan ko daw siya kagad so if the symptoms/side effects persist, better check with your Ob-gyn para she can change your meds if needed.

I am a Yasmin user for at least a year now and I had to go through a lot. During the first few months, the side effects were horrible, horrible . I experienced chest pains, shortness of breath, splitting headache, cramps, dizziness, muscle pains, nausea (I thought I was dying) and I also gained some weight. I almost quit using it because of all these but my doctor assured me that it will go away as soon as my body has gotten used to it. Sure enough, after like 3 months, I didn't experience any of these side effects anymore, and I even lose the weight that I gained without doing anything. Some of the good things about using the pills are you know when your period will arrive and when it will be over, no heavy flows, no cramps, etc. I like it -- but after a year of using it, I'm thinking about switching to Yaz. I heard this one is so much better than Yasmin and on top of that, it's also from Bayer so I may not have to go through the adjustment period and put up with side effects again.

Just to add, it also helps control acne. I never had any of those nasty pimples anymore... not even a single one.

Yes, it is available in the US. Unlike here, they advertise it on TV...

One side effect for me.....and I really didn't mind at all......WEIGHTLOSS

Been taking yasmin for a little over a year now and it's helped me a lot in a lot of ways. I didn't gain weight, my skin is healthier and my period has gotten better. I was given this because I have polycystic ovaries.

The first two months was a little uncomfortable but that's it. I would advise, you take it before going to bed as it will make you feel dizzy at first. After two pads, you should be fine.
