Should I create a "Case Filing and Progress Reports" forum for AOS? There are so many threads in here for that. Maybe it would help?

hmm.. i guess no need Captain since in my opinion it's easier to check/update it by month filing plus there are really diligent and creative people who like making chart and stuff... like in my month,lol:) I am a September filer and our chart is really awesome thanks to envy_me.

It would probably be useful. There are as many threads in here for tracking progress (one for each month) as there are in the K1 progress thread, and that's got a separate forum. That said, I'm happy either way. It is easy enough for me to find the August thread in the main forum, and I'm sure it's as easy for others on here, most of whom are a lot more comuter savvy than I am.

8/26/2008 ~ Sent AOS/AP/EAD to Chicago lockbox

9/18/2008 ~ Biometrics in St Louis

9/22/2008 ~ Transferred to CSC

11/05/2008 ~ AP/EAD approved (71 days)

1/20/2009 ~ AOS approved!!! (147 days)

1/29/2009 ~ 2-year GC arrived (156 days)

Removing Conditions

11/18/2010 ~ Sent I-751 to CSC

11/19/2010 ~ I-751 delivered to CSC

11/19/2010 ~ NOA1

12/10/2010 ~ Received biometrics letter

12/21/2010 ~ Biometrics in St Louis

12/29/2010 ~ Touch

1/04/2011 ~ Case status finally available online

2/16/2011 ~ Approved!! (89 days)

2/22/2011 ~ 10-year GC arrived (95 days)

Absolutely! People like their monthly groups for the comraderie but it does overwhelm to true questions about AOS. The posts go back and forth like:

A question can move to page 2 or 3 in an hour it seems. And the fact that all the K1, K3, CR1 plus other visa forums merge into one AOS makes it a very active place.
