B1 visa?

hi, it's me again for those of you who have seen me on here before. My fiancée who's from Kyrgyzstan is looking to possibly come over on a B1 visa to do an internship with InterVarsity though we are wondering how long is a B1 visa good for? I've found only one site that mentions this and they claim that they are generally good for anywhere between 5 to 10 years but other than that though, we haven't heard anything concrete. If anyone could kindly be of any help to us with finding this information or if you may already have the information, that would be greatly appreciated.

A B1/2 visa can be single entry or multiple entry... it can be good for one year or 10 years...

The validity of the visa means nothing when it comes to length of allowed stay inside the USA.... That is determined and granted at the POE. It can be any length of time it will not exceed 6 mos. Having a B visa does not guarantee entry into the USA
