All my wagon members used to die of Typhoid, dysentery or snake bites.

I guess you're right. I just don't like the idea of vaccines just for a one in a million chance that I could contract a disease that is curable with antibiotics anyway.

Ok, I'm all late about it but.......

I've been 3 times and never got any vaccines. And I went all over Morocco, including camping out in the desert... I've gotten more sick from my trips to Mexico than Morocco

Oregon Trails ROCKS! I loved that game

Oh and I think you forgot Scarlett Fever? Didn't people die of that as well? Or am I thinking of Little Women......

Well - after getting word of the denial last night...Gee - January 2009 is looking like it's shaping up to be a stellar month already.

The congressman's aide looked at the info I sent and said "lots of red flags - looks like fraud or setting up for a marriage of convenience" because just hearing the denial wasn't bad enough...

Having a great night over here - can't you tell????

I'm so sorry to hear this!!!

I think your congressperson is new - so is the "aide" new as well. Does he/she really know the wide range of cases that are approved?

I saw on another post you were considering requesting a joint interview. We had that (not thru India or MENA) and although it was stressful - 2 interviews each - the CO did believe our relationship and then we were caught in AP name check hell.

I recall someone from Columbia requesting a joint interview after initial denial.

Hope you get stop the petition from returning to the US.

She seemed to know her stuff - compared with the both Senators liasons - our new congressman "inherited" a lot of staff from what his other staffers said. She began to change her tune a little when I posed the joint second interview question...

I will be the first to say I have red flags - lots of them and big ones at that. It also appears that all the Indian consulates are currently on a denial binge. In all the months I've been here I haven't seen as many denials in that whole time as in the last month or so.

Tomorrow is a new day - I'll just keep on the phones and the prayers hoping that they will agree to the second interview and that we can wow them with our relationship. Worst case, at least I get to see my man sooner than planned.
