Well. I've been reading the Calfornia September k1 filers forum and last night was one day that at least 5 members got their NOA2, now Vermont is a month behind, I believe Vermont August K 1 filers are being approved now, but not as fast or as many as California, anxiety is starting to become a problem but I know is a matter of time; lets see if we can share our opinions, experiences while waiting for our approvals,

Good luck everyone and see where this takes us...

On Feb 1 will be my six month of waitting. I haven't heard anything from Vermont. Not even a touch or anything. I keep calling them almost everyday but they only say one thing. The Vermont is processing March and they haven't change that since September. Well i do hope to hear from them soon.

Well this is going to be a long w/e for the Service centers. due to the holiday , so hopefully VSC will pick up its pace after the new president takes office......my girl is getting depressed over there and i told her that I will be seeing her next month, I can't wait much longer , between work, the distance and now she lost her internet connections is more difficult now..I need to see her, spend time and just relax... so hopefully this will give us a break from everything....

So far I've seen only one sept and one oct approvals......hope those approvals start showing more frequently here...

LATER ....

1st time poster, long time lurker, but Hi anyway...

I am hoping that the VSC gets it butt in gear, I am going on month 4 of waiting, and you'd figure with our level of technology we'd be able to name check and run stuff thru the PC quickly, but with all the paperwork and political bs going on, we have to wait months literally instead of weeks that it should take. I have nothing against other filers, but i feel like i'm standing behind a really big person and can't see the end of the line.. and keep wondering when its going to be my turn to use the rest room.because i'm really ready to goooo.

aww that is a really funny and actual way to put it... im pretty sure everyone feels the same way, i know i sure do. and i totally agree with you about how this is taking way too long for our lvl of technology. I also think that for the $455 filling fee we are not getting the customer service we should be getting.. i.e., update the processing times already.... Sept 30/ Nov 18 2008 isnt very current...

As a matter of fact, I just checked Igor's list and yes one person from VSC got his approval today don't know if to be happy or upset, because the person who just got his NOA2 filed in september and it took him i bellieve 132 days, so not to be upset but I know of a few members that have been waiting for over 160 days already and they deserve getting their approvals soon........

Not that I don't want mine soon too, but hey as long as they start approving petitions we all be happy

Hopefully we 'll be moving from this stage onto the NVC sooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GOOD LUCK EVERY ONE

I will add a few things, i have complained to my Senators office about the visa process, in letter form as to the length of time that it takes the USCIS to do anything, and the way that families are kept apart when they should be able to do a name check and finger prints and let the family member be the their SO while waiting on their paperwork. My fiance has to provide police records and every document under the sun to confirm who she is and where she came from. Now this in my opinion should suffice to let her be here with me and should suffice for any other husband or wife or fiance to come and marry their S/O. As long as they are legally here, then so be it, the government should have a hands off policy and keep themselves doing their paperwork. But no, our loved ones are kept far from us, we the people are kept in the dark as to what we have paid for, and for many of us it is heart wrenching when we have to hang up the phone, leave them to come back home (when they should be with us) or get off the internet with them. I am tired of the government telling us who and where we can be with our S/O, but i like everyone else am powerless because i (we) do not have the political muscle to get these burros (insert acronym here) to make any changes to this broken a@@ system. and just for the heck of it, i went to the Whitehouse.gov and submitted a comment as to when they plan on rehashing our family based immigration and stop making our citizens live a nightmare without their loved ones. I will call anyone, mail anyone to get this through to them, i am tired of our Federal agencies taking advantage of our immigrants, where do they think they all came from anyway??? They all didn't just pop up on US soil like plants now did they... and if they did, i think many would be weeds.. Maybe i suffer from our American ideals that everyone should be treated equally, but i have yet to see this on a consistent basis from any US agency.

Peace..
