Received NOA1 Today! Looks like I'm in line. I will keep you posted.

Congratulations! I was kind of waiting to see when you would get your NOA1, because I mailed off my I-129F on 05/31/06 and still haven't seen anything yet.

This process really is a lesson in patience.

Sorry to ask stupid questions but one kind of notice is it? Could you tell what it was from the envelope (the address, etc)? What exactly does the NOA1 say? Do you now have a file number and are registered with USCIS website to receive email notifications?

Peace,

Steven and Jinky

Your NOA1/receipt will come via regular mail in an envelope from US Department of Homeland Security. The actual NOA says "Notice Type: Receipt Notice" and will have your receipt number that you can use to register on the website. I think you can also get this number from the back of your cancelled check.

Awesome! Thank you! hehehe...I get tons of junk mail which I usually just dump right into my recycling bin, but since mailing off the I-129F, I've been carefully sifting through all the junk - scared that I might accidentally miss it.
