Nothing about that Embassy suprises me.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Yes, that's the one. The income was marginal.

what i read from it was that the income was ok, but the REFLECTED income on tax records was marginal, due to some strange tax system the employer had...like 2 weeks taxes were taken out..2 weeks they werent or something wierd like that. :wacko:

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Yes, I expect the tax situation sounds weird because a foreigner is trying to understand and relate it instead of the petitioner/sponsor talking to us. This always gives me pause.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
