This should be therapeutic, watch me be angry crazy guy, then give it a shot yourselves:

Hey US government- suck my fvcking d*ck!

I know, what do say you make my wife wait more than a year to get a fvcking visa? That would be swell! She isn't even from Jihadistan, she's from Japan- a staunch American ally with a crime rate multiple times less than America's. But there you go, let her wait a year or two. It's a privilege to live here, isn't it? Our ancestors have been here in America for millennia, they originated here- ** these immigrants! Make 'em wait!

Hey US Postal Service- wanna do me a favor? My wife finally got an interview at the embassy, you wanna help us out and lose the motherfvcking documents she's gonna need for her interview tomorrow so she has to reschedule it to next month? Thanks. I only paid $30 bucks to send it by your most expensive, most secure option, and we've only been waiting a year. Just lose it, it's cool. Actually, don't bother losing it at the airport or 3 states away, why don't you lose it before it even gets out of the county? Oh, wait- you did. Nevermind. Then when I call to ask about it, be rude to me on the phone and give me 16 numbers to call that get me 16 other rude people who also can't help.

Hey immigration attorney, you wanna charge me a few more grand? You'll probably need it when I have you cancel my wife's immigration petition and help me file for a spousal visa to go live in Japan, because that's pretty much what I'm ready to fvcking do.

I notice by your timelines that both of you spouses have been in the US with you for quite some time. I'm guessing that you've both also had sex within the past few months, too.

My thread here might look like a crazy rant, but you've gotta admit- this process is absolute horseshit, and our government has a lot of sh!t that it needs to sort the ** out. A fvcking year to get some chick from Japan a visa? If she was some IT specialist from India and I was a big rich company that needed cheap skilled labor, she'd have been here months ago. Something is seriously flawed with this process, and with this country.

Agreed...the system is well flawed. But that's no reason to suggest FP and Jas are having sex. :)

So the interview is tomorrow...she should still be able to do the interview...and just turn in the docs when she has them (and get the visa then).

At least that way, you don't miss the interview date. Plus, there's a chance they won't ask for the documents (of course I don't know what they are).

Hang in there.

If you want to vent Uncle Wally, I'll give you some more thoughts which may make you erupt in rage.

I know, what do say you make my wife wait more than a year to get a fvcking visa?

Uncle Wally meet Uncle Sam. He doesn't care about your individual case any more than he cares about the million-plus people entering the country legally or illegally. Japan is a civilized, allied nation with low crime but how many immigrants do they allow in? That's not the issue but it's ironic.

Hey US Postal Service- wanna do me a favor? My wife finally got an interview at the embassy, you wanna help us out and lose the motherfvcking documents she's gonna need for her interview tomorrow so she has to reschedule it to next month? Thanks. I only paid $30 bucks to send it by your most expensive, most secure option, and we've only been waiting a year. . . Then when I call to ask about it, be rude to me on the phone and give me 16 numbers to call that get me 16 other rude people who also can't help.

You bet on the USPS and lost. Could you send scanned copies for the interview or isn't that allowed? You called customer service for customer service? Don't you know they get paid whether they help you or not. Listening to you getter madder is one of the perks of the job.

Hey immigration attorney, you wanna charge me a few more grand? You'll probably need it when I have you cancel my wife's immigration petition and help me file for a spousal visa to go live in Japan, because that's pretty much what I'm ready to fvcking do.

Trusted Uncle Sam, the USPS and your lawyer. . . I've been told you need trust in marriage but you don't have to trust everyone else. Maybe you needed a lawyer but a lot of people like me didn't get one.
