Hi, I have just joined this website today and am about to submit the forms for my K1 visa this week. I have a quick question regarding copies and certification. Do we have to submit certified copies of everything (passports, birth certificates etc) or are just general uncertified copies acceptable? Help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Photo copies are acceptable in this case. If you have ever been divorced, I would of course submit a court certified copy of the decree.

Exactly. If you're signing the document as a part of the current process, send the original. Any "supporting documentation" can be a photocopy. In cases like divorce decrees, marriage certificates, birth certificates, etc. a photocopy of a certified copy.
