We are so confused!

We are trying to get everything ready so that we can get through NVC quickly but we have noticed about some fees- does anyone know what they are and how much they should be?!

Good luck

OBX - the IV fee bill is $400 and not $355. the $355 fee is for I-130.

read carefully: Immigrant visa application processing fee (per person), Form DS-230 : $355.00 plus Immigrant visa security surcharge, for all IV and DV applicants: $45.00

that makes $400

so you will have two fees at the NVC, Affidavit of Support fee bill for $70 and IV fee bill for $400. i just paid these fee yesterday.

Thanks for catching that. I didn't see the $45.00 surcharge. So $355 + $45 = $400.00

And when is it that we can pay these? Do we do them online or do we have to mail in a money order like we did with the I-130

They can be paid online once the bill has been generated. Reading through the guides will help you. You can also follow some of the threads posted by those currently going through NVC. I have found that helps as well. Good luck
