What happened to my case?

Just curious if anyone has any ideas for why it would take the NVC so long to enter my case? I got the NOA2 on both the I-130 and I-129F on the 30th of Dec however my I-129F has not been entered into the system and my I-130 was entered on the 8th of Jan however they haven't generated an AOS bill or anything. Should I be concerned? Should I call them more often or just wait?

I am okay with waiting just thought it was strange so many people have their NVC numbers that were approved a week after me.

I would call NVC and talk to an operator asking about your NVC Case number in regards to the I-130. It should be input into the system by now....my I-129F isn't in the system yet either. I think that takes longer. Definitely call about the I-130! Good luck!

We were approved a day after you and I was able to get our 129f case # 8 days? later, we have received multiple letters from NVC saying they will be forwarding our case to the consulate AND I received the AOS bill on Saturday. I would call for sure

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.
