Titre test in British Columbia

Hi,

I booked my medical in Vancouver for July 5th. I am planning on getting the titre test done for mmr. Just wanted to know if this is covered under MSP. My doctor told me I may have to pay because I'm requesting it for immigration purposes and just noticed that he circled bill to patient on the lab request form. So did anyone else from BC who had this test done have to pay for it?

I didn't have a titre test done for my MMR because my family doctor decided that I should just get the shot again ... But he did order a titre test for Chicken Pox and I didn't have to pay anything for that test.

when I got mine done the doctor mentioned that I might have to pay but i never did

I'll have to talk to my doctor again. Don't really want to pay for it if I don't have to.

I didn't pay for my titre test and the only shot I had to have was a tetnus because it had been over ten years since my last one which was also covered by MSP.
