Immigrants is the right term for them, whether you like it or not.

Illegal Federal criminal Aliens do nothing positive for this nation. They compromise our security, compromise our education drain resources put in place for legal tax paying immigrantrs & citizens.

Oh for Pete's sake - you are painting them all with a huge brush. Not even worth the time trying to debate that kind of nonsense.

Again - the act of being an illegal alien is not a criminal offence.

Its only considered "criminal" if you evade deportation proceedings, or subsequently return (illegally).

Exactly! It's a civil violation.

oh it's not that big a deal then.

No sense in using up more HD space by just hitting reply, also jams the net increasing prices.

Just thought you were going to say, make Mexico a state, you know, like Texas.

You're right, I'm partially correct; they are undocumented immigrants. That's the proper term for them. The fact that you don't like it, does not make the term any less real. But you can call them whatever goofy name you'd like, that still won't change what they are or who they are.

Thank you for bringing my point home. What ever candy coating or less harsh label you want to place they ARE Illegal Federal Criminal Aliens. Whose 1st act on USA soil is that of criminal defiance, yes labeling them as "undocumented" makes it sound all pretty and almost ok. But everyone knows the reality they are federal criminal ILLEGAL ALIENS.

hell lets all label sex offenders as mentally detached horney toads less harsh or Unregsistered person lacking self control. What a laugh.

It is funny the indivduals who desperatly try to down play the issue or reach for less harsh ways of labeling Illegal Aliens, it must help you feel better about yourself. if thats the case then put your simple mind at ease and think what you want.

Thas assuming all they did was simply "be illegal" crossing the border illegally is a federal offense,

Defrauding tax system or evading income tax is a federal crime, Stealing/ defrauding Social security & identity theft are crimes. FEDRAL CRIMES.

Driving without a valid liscense is a misdameaner CRIME.

So Illegal Alien is an accurate label

"undocumented" HAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaa

But that doesn't count all the other harm to America / Americans and all the other illegal sh*t your pets do once they cross the border illegally. That is just the beginning of the story you don't want to hear about or to even come to grips with. It goes on and on. Let us count the ways. But I digress, you just don't want to deal with reality.

BTW...what's up with your moniker MariaBonita? In Houston it has an unsavory connotation. I'm not sure if you're aware or maybe that's the point? Maybe it's just a sick joke? I'm confused. Enlighten us.

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

US Congresswoman Barbara Jordan (D-TX)

Testimony to the House Immigration Subcommittee, February 24, 1995

No, that's the goofy term you choose for them. But I repeat, it doesn't change who they are, or what they are: they are undocumented immigrants, and human beings. Feel free to call it PC, or touchy feely, or what ever the he!! you want, I don't give a rat's behind, really.

I agree labels aren't particularly important - but Undocumented Immigrant is more accurate (and neutral).
