Why don't we just summarily execute them? Do you think that would do the trick? They'd be dead so they can't hire anymore illegal aliens. Would that satisfy you? Probably not. You would still demand the illegals get amnesty and US citizenship.

Some employers have gotten jail time and fines for hiring illegal aliens and I have posted those stories. But the usual suspects listed above still demand a stop to the raids and amnesty for illegal aliens. They don't want to stop illegal immigration. They want to stop enforcement of laws against illegal immigration.

I find it so funny how a nation of immigrants can continue to mock and generally hate on immigrants. Illegally or legally, the USA has always depended on the uneducated immigrant to do the back-breaking work. We need them - someone has to do it. Without immigrants we wouldn't have built our country's infrastructure of canals, railroads, manufacturing plants, etc. So the USA has made it nearly impossible to come legally to do that type of work... that hasn't reduced the demand for that type of laborer, nor the supply of it available (primarily from our southern neighbor this time instead of China and Europe).

Do I want people to come legally? Absolutely. Is our system set up to do that? Hell no. You all should know better than anyone, seeing as how long it takes everyone here to get their visas, greencards, and citizenship. If you want a fix to this problem, adding more backlog to the system isn't going to do it (eg prosecuting and deporting 11 MILLION PEOPLE). Yes, tighten the border security, but we've got to stop pretending we don't have any use for immigrants and be more welcoming to immigrants again.

Why waste US $ putting them in jail, majority of the time they face a trial are released on OR and then go back to hiding in the shadows commiting federal crimes and never answer for their actions, hit them where it hurts, Pull away any and all social services, give local states authorization to inquire about immigration at routine traffic stops, then create inter agnecy cooperation to immediately deport those who are found to be here illegally, family or not, even if they have children. They put thier families future at risk by becoming federal criminals so they should be ready for the consequences.

Write into law a no anchor babay clause prohibitng the children of illegals from petitioning an illegal parent until that parent returns to their country of origin and waits a penalty ban of 5 years, pays fines and then waits behind those applying legally, that is fair and just!

The USA needs to stop giving these criminals reasons for staying. Don't give free social services, No free public school for children of illegals,no housing sudsidary, no food subsidary, if they are illegal they are not entitled to any services other than emergency care, which should then be billed back to their country of origin, and if that country cannot pay then USA should cease trade and subisidary programs going to those countries.

If you come across a stray animal that has wandered away from its home, and you feed it, give it shelter out of your own good will , it will return will not leave, will cost you money and will bring others, instead Enforce the laws stricltly and force those to retrun to where they came and put the burden back on the country to where they came. thats where the change has to take place it is better for everyone mexico, USA, Sweden , Ireland, Denmark & all those countries who facilitate the violation of USA immigration policy.

The operative word here is Legal vs illegal who says we do not have any use for "immigrants" we should and do NOT have any use for illegal imigrants whose 1st act on USA soil is that of criminal defiance. Those criminals cost the USA Billions of $/ year in no way do they help the USA.

you are partially correct the one word that defines majority of those in this forum and ILLEGAL defines those who willingly break federal laws and immigrate Illegally therefore are ILLEGAL!Illegal Aliens because they are not legally immigrated. They are illegal migrants, or federal criminals, Social security criminals, thieves, drains on the economy, and a small percentage of them commit violent crimes which we all know the usa already has enough of its own homegrown violent criminals.

Illegal Federal criminal Aliens do nothing positive for this nation. They compromise our security, compromise our education drain resources put in place for legal tax paying immigrantrs & citizens.

You're right, I'm partially correct; they are undocumented immigrants. That's the proper term for them. The fact that you don't like it, does not make the term any less real. But you can call them whatever goofy name you'd like, that still won't change what they are or who they are.
