A Better Way to End Unauthorized Immigration

A pre-emptive strike into the poorest villages in Mexico would be a lot more precise, less mess on our land and would send a message to countries around the world that we really don't care what they think about our human rights violations.

True, but if we keep it on our turf, the rest of the world can't say anything. After a few weeks with the bodies piling up along the border and hanging from the fence, the illegals would think twice about attempting to cross. If they start climbing, give them a warning and then open fire.

One thing I don't agree with is violence as a means to solve the immigration problem, However, the illegal immigration from the south has compromised our national security, by draining resources that would be better spent protecting from terrorist nations, also the illegal immigrants are major contributors to drug trafficking.

So in effect our nation is in danger and being invaded. 6 of the 9/11 terrorists were found out to have crosssed into the USA illegally from our southern Border, so this creates a definite security issue.

Armed guards and towers with armed patrols are not such a bad idea, those who cross illegally are willingly breaking federal laws and if there is an armed border they woul dbe willingly challenging that border, and be subject to the consequences of their actions. Mines are a bit far fetched and cruel but armed patrols with K-9s who are allowed by law to use deadly force should be an option that we exercise since these Illegal criminals think this game of invading our country stealing from its people, and threatening the future and lives of our children is acceptable we should resposnd with strict enforcement.

Instead of reaching a smart answer to the problems like illegal immigration, drugs etc, the government just says that it's against the law, you break the law you go to jail or get deported. They have been throwing in jail and deporting illegals for a long time and have that deterred them from coming? NA. There has to be an immigration reform that focuses in accommodating all these immigrants, keep a record, get rid of the bad apples since I know for a fact that not all of them are exemplar citizens and allow them to come work and go back to their country of origin as pleased, or stay if pleased as long as they behave.

Enforce immigration! deport everybody, make it a crime, don't give them the prize of LPR! that will NOT solve anything but try to cover the sun with a finger. There is not just 1 solution to the problem but many, the problem is reaching an agreement between those who have the power to change the law and working towards that unique goal. Currently there is not the intent to reach that common goal.
