What is Jihad? Simply put, jihad is A Moslem holy war or spiritual struggle against infidels.

Do muslims believe in the same god as christians?

While both Islam and Christianity are monotheistic faiths, there are two profound differences in what they believe about who God is and what is his nature. Christians believe that God is Triune, One in essence, while at the same time there are Persons who are the One God, specifically, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. And, Christians believe that the Son became a flesh and blood human being, Jesus, while still remaining fully God. Islam explicitly rejects both these Christian doctrines. The two religions cannot be said to believe in the same God without dismissing as inconsequential the Christian belief in the Trinity and the deity of Jesus.
