Hey guys… (Just when you thought I wouldn’t post anything anymore lol)

Well I sent the docs (certified & w/ return of receipt) on Monday January 5, 2009. I did pay for a return of receipt and I still havent received the return of receipt and its been more than a week. When do you guys think my husband’s package would be received at the USCIS Lockbox office in Chicago after being mailed on January 5, 2009? And how long after, would the check be cashed after the package was sent January 5, 2009? Thanks for any answers!

It took the postal service more than two weeks to get the return receipt to me. But I used express mail so that it was delivered to the USCIS office, not its lockbox. That way, someone actually signed for the packet. Going to a lockbox means just that -- there is no one there to acknowledge that it has been received.
