Hi All..

Is it OK , if i (beneficiary) send certified copy of documents to NVC with DS230 part 1 & 2

I am fall in Mumbai-India consulate ...

Who is your choice of agent? Whoever your agent is they are suppose to send DS230 along with all required documents.

U.S. Passport

xx-xx-2012: Passport application sent

I-130 petition for Sibling

07-19-2012: Sent I-130 via Priority mail

07-23-2012: I-130 received by PHX lbx (forwarded to california)

07-23-2012: Priority date

07-30-2012: I-797 receipt received

1. CR1 [Completed: 2009/Total Days: 325]

2. ROC [Completed: 2011/Total Days: 222]

3. CITIZENSHIP [Completed: 2012/Total Days: 125]

4. US PASSPORT [Completed: 2012/Total Days: ]

thanks for reply..my choice of agent is my wife in USA. but DS230 part 1 has to be signed by me ...wht about that ???

thanks for reply..my choice of agent is my wife in USA. but DS230 part 1 has to be signed by me ...wht about that ???

Yes, DS230 part1 has to be sign by you. Once you sign the form I recommend you mail your wife that form along with all the required docs that you have to send from your side with ds230 so, your wife can send whole IV package as soon as she pays IV fee. Because You can not send DS230 package untill that form is generated and fee is paid at NVC.
